DAN KAPICA
Author

Dan Kapica acquired his educational credentials in both the business and academic communities over forty years of practice.

Based on cumulative life experiences as varied as childhood trauma, military combat, the recovery movement, and a twenty two year personal "identity quest," he sprouted the educational philosophy and program of the
Mangrove Seed, Inc
.

He is the founder and president of the
Mangrove Seed, Inc. a 501(c)3 not-for-profit holistic learning center for S(s)elf discovery and authentic expression.

After articulating nine balancing principles based on a unique, holistic model for balanced living,  he realized that genuine caring for others and the planet would require a more simplified educational approach.

In 2007 he published the Mangrove Seed Chronicles: Learning To Trust as a primer for "children of all ages."  The book was designed to embody, in metaphor, the nine principles of the adult educational program
of the Mangrove Seed and apply them to the development of children.

Essentially, the book reflects a personal lifetime of reflective work that encapsulates a critical philosophy of balancing fear with trust in everyday life situations.
